📖 The piece

Against all odds, Barcelona's most dissident underground scene came back to life during the pandemic, when gathering to dance to electronic music was harder than ever.

Based on interviews with DJs, doctors, a psychiatrist, an epidemiologist and promoters, it asks whether those parties can help us rethink what health means.

🏛️ La Brossa, Centre de les Arts Lliures

The Fundació Joan Brossa is housed in La Seca, Barcelona's old royal mint in El Born, and is Barcelona's home for the 'free arts': visual theatre, object poetry, magic, performance and live arts, in the spirit of the poet it is named after. It runs exhibitions, shows and activities all season long.

ℹ️ Good to know: In Catalan and Spanish, 1 hour, ages 16+. Contains loud, harsh sounds.

✨ Documentary theatre with a club beat.
