In this edition, the Arxipèlag creative open call is dedicated to Barbara Hammer, a pioneer of lesbian and experimental cinema. Concurrently, the touring programme Conegudes i reconegudes travels through various municipalities presenting recent works by Catalan directors.
The Cineastes Llatinoamericanes section combines fiction, documentary, and series, spotlighting contemporary Brazilian production through three works that defy conventional formats to explore the youth experience in Brazil against an unjust police and judicial system. In addition, the Manifestos Fílmics Feministes XII cycle includes three screenings and a workshop examining beauty standards and bodily estrangement processes.
