On Sunday mornings, under the arcades of Plaça Reial, collectors from all over the city meet to buy, sell and swap coins, stamps, banknotes, postcards and medals. A low-key, long-standing market in one of the Gothic Quarter's most beautiful squares. 🪙✉️

🔎 What you will find

Old and collectible coins, stamps loose and in albums, banknotes, vintage postcards, medals, badges and other collectibles. Many stalls have something for every budget, from cheap job lots to rare pieces.

🌴 The square

Plaça Reial, with its palm trees, 19th-century neoclassical arcades and lampposts designed by a young Antoni Gaudí, is one of Barcelona's most photographed spots, just off La Rambla.

ℹ️ Good to know: perfect with a stroll around the Gothic Quarter and a vermouth on one of the square's terraces. Metro Liceu (L3).
