📖 The concert programme

The evening's programme brings together three expressive works for the audience in the Sala de Concerts. The performance opens with the Concert per a instruments ancestrals, composed by Abraham Cupeiro himself, placing unusual and ancient instruments at the forefront of the orchestral dialogue.

Next on the programme is Cantus articus, op. 61 by composer E. Rautavaara. To conclude this symphonic evening, the orchestra will perform Igor Stravinsky's celebrated masterwork L’ocell de foc (The Firebird), the central composition that gives the event its title.

🎶 The performers and the Simfònics al Palau series

The Simfònics al Palau series presents this distinctive artistic collaboration led by the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès. For this occasion, the orchestra performs with multi-instrumentalist Abraham Cupeiro under musical director Andrés Salado and stage director Paco Azorín.
