This guided tour takes visitors through the only visitable section of Barcelona's sewer system. The visit explains how this network operates to ensure public health and hygiene, prevent flooding, and treat urban wastewater.

The session also prompts reflection on the value of water as a scarce resource and our shared civic responsibility in maintaining this vital infrastructure.

🌱 Environmental outreach with XEAB and SCEA

The tour is led by educators from XEAB and organized by SCEA, entities focused on environmental education and urban sustainability.

ℹ️ Good to know: Suitable for ages 8 and up. Not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Registrations open on 18 November at 8:00. In case of rain, the activity will be canceled for safety reasons and will not be rescheduled.
