Eleven days of music told on the big screen. In-Edit returns to the Eixample for its 24th edition, turning the Aribau cinemas into headquarters for music documentary lovers. 🎬🎶
Founded in Barcelona in 2003, In-Edit is today the world's leading music documentary film festival, with sister editions in Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Uruguay and Gijón.

The festival opens with Broken English, a tribute to Marianne Faithfull blending fiction, archive footage and interviews, featuring Tilda Swinton and George MacKay.
Among the Catalan premieres, Carla Simón makes her music cinema debut with Flamenco, starring dancer Rocío Molina, and Albert Serra presents Seize moments de ma vie, a portrait of actress and singer Ingrid Caven.
Closing night belongs to The Best Summer by Tamra Davis, built from footage of the 1995 Summersault festival with performances by Beastie Boys, Sonic Youth and Foo Fighters.
🏆 New this year
The festival launches the Apolo Award for Best Music Video, created with Sala Apolo to champion the music video as an audiovisual and artistic work in its own right.
Alongside the film programme, In-Edit Lab hosts professional and training sessions, free with advance booking.
ℹ️ Good to know: single tickets go on sale on 1 October; pack and pass holders get priority exchange on 29 and 30 September. Cinema & Music sessions (€13) include a warm-up and DJ set, and special sessions (€16) include a drink. Films are screened in their original language with subtitles, usually in Spanish or Catalan.
