Community Celebration for Caregivers Day in Poble-sec

The Poble-sec neighborhood comes together in the public square to celebrate caregivers and highlight the essential role of care work in our society. 🥁✨

This open community gathering marks the closing celebration of the collaborative project "El gest compartit", combining art, music, and local exchange.

📖 Street celebration, art, and community meeting

The family caregiver group from CAP Les Hortes and Serveis Socials del Poble-sec will present a participatory performance facilitated by Teatro en Movimiento Callejerx. In addition, the event showcases the artworks created during the trencadís workshops held in partnership with La Glòria Factoria.

The morning also features an energetic batucada percussion performance by Fundació Artesà and an open snack buffet welcoming all attendees.

This festive event marks the culmination of "El gest compartit", an initiative driven by La Comunitària, CAP Les Hortes, Serveis Socials del Poble-sec, and the IF Barcelona Fest. The project collaborates with Pla Comunitari del Poble-sec and is supported by Generalitat de Catalunya and Ajuntament de Barcelona.
