📖 Dialogues across eras and critical memory
Taking its title from a poem by Pier Paolo Pasolini, the exhibition presents artworks that echo earlier paintings, sculptures, mythologies, and iconographies. Through quotation, appropriation, homage, or critical confrontation, the pieces explore multiple interpretations of contemporary culture.
Rather than establishing closed genealogies, the exhibition poses questions to which each artist responds differently, opening an ongoing dialogue across eras to rethink the present day.
🎨 The ”la Caixa” Foundation Contemporary Art Collection
The collection of ”la Caixa” Foundation forms a vast and diverse body of work, offering an inexhaustible source of ideas and narratives displayed at the Montjuïc cultural centre.
ℹ️ Good to know: closed on December 25, January 1, and January 6. Free admission for CaixaBank clients, European Youth Card holders, and visitors under 16.
