📖 Care, sovereignties, and living memory
In a world where economic production frequently overshadows care, "Tros de dona" reclaims the daily, vital tasks essential for human survival. Structured around four areas —home, street, body, and land—, the exhibition examines the domestic, healthcare, educational, emotional, and environmental roles historically undertaken by women.
The display brings together pieces from the Museu Terra collection and private collections from women of Poblenou alongside contemporary art. Video art, installations, sculptures, prints, and photographs feature works by artists such as Joana Biarnés, Isabel Banal, Anna Dot, Beatrice Bizot, and Mònica Galera, exploring perspectives on future generations.
🏛️ The Poblenou venue
Sala Barcelona at Museu Terra offers a cultural mediation space where rural cultural heritage actively engages with contemporary urban realities.
ℹ️ Good to know: Guided tours take place on the first and last Saturday of each month at 12:00; prior registration is required.
✨ A vital tribute to the invisible efforts that sustain life every day.
