📖 Direct testimony of the conflict
The exhibition brings together nearly one hundred drawings made during the war, works of remarkable expressive quality recently acquired by the Museu Nacional. These pieces depict the harshness and impact of war in all its severity, providing an intense historical and artistic visual record.
🎨 José Luis Rey Vila and MNAC's collections
Artist José Luis Rey Vila (Cádiz, 1900 – Paris, 1983), widely known under the pseudonym Sim, produced one of the most vivid accounts of the wartime drama in Barcelona.
