The Museu Europeu d'Art Modern presents a new edition of one of its most distinctive international collective exhibitions, entirely dedicated to contemporary figurative art in small format. 🎨✨

Now in its eighth edition, the exhibition brings together works selected through a rigorous review process among submissions from artists worldwide.

🎨 MEAM Hall

📅 From July 10 to November 29, 2026

🕐 Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

📍 Museu Europeu d'Art Modern (MEAM), Barcelona

🎟️ General admission: €13 · Reduced admission: €10 · Children under 10: free

📖 The 20 x 20 cm Challenge

MEAM Hall has established itself as a benchmark for contemporary realism thanks to its demanding technical and conceptual framework: all works strictly measure 20 x 20 cm.

This scale constraint does not limit artistic ambition, but tests it. Within this compact surface, each participating artist must condense a personal vision, clear intention, and recognizable technique into a minimal space.

🎨 The Museu Europeu d'Art Modern

Located on Carrer de la Barra de Ferro in Barcelona, the Museu Europeu d'Art Modern (MEAM) focuses its programming on championing contemporary figurative and realist art through temporary exhibitions and international open calls.

ℹ️ Good to know: The museum is closed on Mondays. Reduced pricing is available, and children under 10 enter for free.

✨ A unique chance to experience the precision and diversity of global realism on a miniature scale.
