📖 Working-class memory, urban planning, and modernization

The exhibition examines how the arrival of SEAT drove major economic, architectural, cultural, and political changes. Structured across five sections, it traces the reasons for establishing the factory in Barcelona, the industrial surge of Zona Franca, and the creation of a modern industrial colony in what is now the Marina neighbourhood.

The exhibition also addresses the company's status as a symbol of the Francoist regime during economic opening, worker surveillance systems, and the clandestine labour movement's role in the push for democracy.

🎨 A historical journey at Montjuïc Castle

Set within the castle's interpretation centre, the exhibition offers a thoughtful exploration of modern Catalan and Spanish society through industrial and social history.

ℹ️ Good to know: Reduced admission available for €8. Free entry for visitors under 16, every Sunday after 3:00 pm, and all day on the first Sunday of each month.
