📖 An audiovisual genealogy of feminism
The exhibition traces a genealogy of feminist film and video art practices in Catalonia from 1976 to the present day. Bringing together works created by female filmmakers and artists, the display presents film re-edits, video art pieces, and reports organized around the nine thematic areas discussed at the historic 1976 conference.
The initiative highlights a transformative way of conceiving and producing moving images, bringing key materials from film archives to light.
🎬 Creation, archive, and memory
The exhibition is curated by Alexandra Laudo, with advice from Marta Selva and Anna Solà, montage by Pilar Monsell, and production by Filmoteca de Catalunya.
ℹ️ Good to know: Closed on Mondays. Open during morning and afternoon hours on weekdays, and afternoon hours on weekends.
