The exhibition brings together garments, period photographs, original drawings and fashion plates, documents, magazines, advertisements, and audiovisual archives. A comprehensive survey to rediscover an essential creator and explore the narratives of fashion history.

Bastida began her journey in Barcelona in 1926 and established her couture house during the 1930s. Following the Civil War, she expanded her label to Madrid and Seville, presenting collections internationally in Brussels, Venice, Cairo, and New York. Her international standing was confirmed when Christian Dior authorized her to reproduce and sign selected designs.
