"American Images" provides an honest and profound view of contemporary American society. Through a curated selection of her most significant projects, the exhibition reflects Dana Lixenberg's career of over thirty years.
The show features acclaimed series such as "Imperial Courts", started after the 1992 Los Angeles riots, as well as portraits created in Jeffersonville (Indiana) and Shishmaref (Alaska). Her frames encompass marginalized communities, cultural icons, and landscapes steeped in social memory.
