📖 A journey through medieval centers of power

Long before Antoni Gaudí's work, the area at the foot of Collserola was an influential center of authority. Amidst palaces, convents, streams, and woodlands, prominent figures such as Elisenda de Montcada, King Martin the Humane, Margarida de Prades, Violant of Bar, Bernat Metge, Pope Benedict XIII, and Cecília d'Urgell shaped the destiny of the city and the realm.

The tour lasts two and a half hours. It begins at Torre Bellesguard with a one-hour guided visit. The group then travels by public transport to Pedralbes Monastery, with ongoing explanations from the guide along the way, finishing with a one-hour tour of the monastery complex.
