📖 Catalan Christmas carols reimagined
Els Quatrevents present their new book-album as a prelude to celebrating twenty years of musical history. They revisit their 2008 project entitled Si Jesús hagués estat català, which sets traditional Catalan Christmas carols as the soundtrack to an evocative and tender story.
Nearly two decades later, the group updates and breathes new life into these arrangements on stage. The ensemble features Heura Gaya, Ivó Jordà, Adrià Pérez, and Manu Sabaté playing gralles, joined by Marc Vall on percussion.
🏛️ Two decades of innovation with the gralla
Formed in 2007 and closely rooted in Vilafranca del Penedès, Els Quatrevents stands as a benchmark for exploring fresh sounds and instrument fusions for the gralla, backed by multiple awards and projects such as the 2018 record Simfonies i Fantasies per a Gralla.
✨ A unique musical evening rediscovering festive melodies through modern traditional winds.
