📖 A journey from Puerto Rico to Broadway

The play chronicles the life of an artist inspired by Chita Rivera, from her Puerto Rican childhood to her breakthrough on Broadway in titles such as West Side Story, Chicago, and Kiss of the Spider Woman. The production also highlights obstacles, invisibility, and personal struggle, as the characters she portrayed become inner voices shaping her identity.

Merging reality and fiction, the narrative reflects the shared experience of women, driven by energetic choreographies and the power of live accompaniment.

🎶 All-female cast and live band

Directed by Gara Roda with musical direction by Andrea Puig Doria, the stage features performers Ester Bartomeu, Queralt Albinyana, Xaro Campo, and Júlia Pérez. They are joined by a live band comprising Anna Cruz Magín (double bass), Jana Gallifa Vàsquez (piano), Cecília Collaço (drums), and Enara Eguileta Delgado (saxophone), with choreography by Tatiana Monells.
