📖 The story
A married couple must face the death of their four-year-old son after an accident. El niu dares to look into the abyss that loss leaves behind and listens to the silences that settle into the lives of those who remain: falls, contradictions and small acts of resistance in a family moving between memories, guilt and love.
The author portrays it with an intimate, honest and moving gaze, and a delicate humour that shows how hard, and how necessary, it is to keep living. The mystery of how light seeps through the cracks of grief.
🎬 The cast
Laura Aubert (Becca), Pep Ambròs (Howie), Mercè Aránega (Nat), Anna Roy (Izzy) and Jan Gavilan (Jason). A La Villarroel production.
