📖 A musical dialogue spanning three generations

The concert programme presents an engaging journey through different musical periods. Pianists Carme Vilanova and Alba Linares, forming Duo Kalon, perform works by Francis Poulenc, Clara Schumann, and Albert Guinovart. Notable among the repertoire is Clara Schumann's March, a piece that marked the composer's return to creative work after twenty-five years.

Meanwhile, siblings Guillem and Martina Armengol Tort, violin and cello of Duo Delouart, perform Joseph Haydn's Duo in D major as well as Maurice Ravel's Sonata for violin and cello, dedicated to Claude Debussy.

🎶 Supporting emerging chamber music talent

The Premi La Flama award was established in 2023 by Joventuts Musicals de Catalunya and the Acadèmia de Quartets de Vic to recognize promising young ensembles and foster their professional careers. This recital highlights the vibrancy of Catalan chamber music within one of Barcelona's most emblematic venues.

✨ An unmissable opportunity to experience the bright future of Catalan chamber music live at the Palau de la Música Catalana.
