📖 A new pact with reality and uniqueness
The piece is inspired by the novel La mujer que buceó dentro del corazón del mundo by Mexican author Sabina Berman. Through this storytelling, the play explores the metaphor of the autistic attitude that neurotypical people frequently adopt toward the environment.
Diving between ocean tunas and humans on land, the performance reveals that a new pact with reality is possible, showing that genuine authenticity comes from discovering our inner essence and celebrating our differences to find true freedom.
🎭 Creative process and artistic team
The original idea and creative development were shaped by Anna Farriol, Iria Corominas, Txell Felip, and Mireia Fernàndez. Mireia Fernàndez directs the piece, while the dramaturgy was developed by Denise Duncan and Engruna Teatre.
On stage, performers Iria Corominas and Anna Farriol bring this tender and thought-provoking narrative to life at Sala Albéniz.
✨ A touching theatrical journey into nature and individuality in Tiana.
