📖 The ethical and musical legacy of Pau Casals

Pau Casals regarded music as a universal language and the voice of peace. This tribute concert honors an artist who transformed his art into a moral conscience, standing as a beacon of human dignity and resistance through the darkest periods of the twentieth century.

The carefully curated programme spans masterpieces of intense emotional depth: Claude Debussy's Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune, Robert Schumann's Cello Concerto in A minor, Op. 129, and Igor Stravinsky's revolutionary The Rite of Spring.

🎶 Truls Mørk and the Liceu Orchestra

This special evening brings conductor Jonathan Nott to the stage of La Rambla to lead the Orquestra Simfònica del Gran Teatre del Liceu, joining forces with cellist Truls Mørk in one of the most prominent concertos of the cello repertoire.

✨ An exceptional symphonic evening paying tribute to the timeless voice and spirit of Pau Casals in Barcelona.
