📖 A Sound Journey with 'Manifest'

Formed in Bogotá by Balthazar Aguirre, Johanna Mercuriana, and Santiago Lizcano, BALTHVS is known for an instrumental sound that draws equally from hallucinogenic funk, cumbia, Anatolian rock, and surf music. Their repertoire, rich in exotic textures and rhythmic elegance, conjures Colombian warmth as effortlessly as Anatolian horizons or the Texan desert.

During this live performance, they will present tracks from Manifest, their fifth album. Their style shares musical ground with contemporary outfits like Khruangbin, Los Bitchos, and Altın Gün, where vocal-free arrangements allow hypnotic melodies and danceable grooves to take center stage.

🎶 The Band and the Venue

The Bogotá trio has forged a distinct sonic identity where musical borders fade away seamlessly. With tour stops announced in Madrid and Barcelona early in the year, their Barcelona concert offers a prime opportunity to experience their mesmerizing soundscapes up close.

The show takes place at La (2) de Apolo, providing an intimate setting to appreciate the band's rich stage chemistry and global musical blend.

✨ An unmissable evening for fans of instrumental funk and global psych sounds.
