🎶 Andsnes, Philharmonia Orchestra and Salonen at Palau de la Música Catalana

📅 Wednesday 13 January 2027

🕐 8 pm

📍 Palau de la Música Catalana, Concert Hall (Barcelona)

🎟️ Tickets from €38 to €180

📖 The piece

London's Philharmonia Orchestra with Esa-Pekka Salonen on the podium and Leif Ove Andsnes at the piano.

Programme: Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor, Op. 37, and Bruckner's Symphony No. 6 in A major.

The Norwegian pianist is one of today's great Beethoven interpreters, and Salonen, the Philharmonia's principal conductor for fifteen years, returns to lead it in a bright and rarely heard Bruckner symphony.

🏛️ Palau de la Música Catalana

A Modernista masterpiece by Lluís Domènech i Montaner, opened in 1908 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its Concert Hall, with the stained-glass skylight and the sculptures framing the stage, is one of the most beautiful in the world and a regular stop for the great international orchestras.

ℹ️ Good to know: Arrive 20 minutes early: doors close when the concert starts and latecomers wait until the interval.

✨ One of the great symphonic nights of the Barcelona season.
