📖 Baroque music to celebrate Christmas

The repertoire for this Christmas concert brings together works by three undisputed masters of the baroque era: Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frideric Handel, and Jean-Philippe Rameau. This selection traverses varied aesthetics and stylistic nuances of seventeenth and eighteenth-century European music.

The performance features the ensemble A Nocte Temporis alongside the vocalists and instrumentalists of the Salvat Barroc 2027 Scholarship, led by the artistic direction and singing of Reinoud van Mechelen.

🏛️ The Palau Bach cycle and performers

The concert is part of Palau Bach, the cycle at the modernist hall dedicated to Bach's music and his era. A Nocte Temporis, led by Belgian tenor Reinoud van Mechelen, is renowned for historical performance, joined on this occasion by the emerging talents of the Salvat Barroc Scholarship.

✨ An essential baroque evening to celebrate the festive season in the iconic Sala de Concerts.
