📖 Programme and performers

Due to restoration works on the nave vaults affecting the main organ, the first three concerts will take place in the Capella del Santíssim using the historical 1712 organ attributed to Josep Boscà. The programme features Lorenzo Ghielmi with violinist Anna Maddalena Ghielmi (21 October), Andrés Cea in a solo recital (18 November), and Jaime González-Sierra with sackbut player Ramon Marquès (16 December).

From January 2027, concerts return to the Cathedral's main organ with performances by Lucie Žáková (20 January), Jordi-Agustí Piqué (17 February), Thomas Ospital (17 March, within the CNDM program El órgano en las Catedrales), Johannes Skudlik (21 April), and Miquel Carr (19 May).

🎶 The Cathedral's instruments

The series highlights both the historical 1712 organ in the Capella del Santíssim and the main cathedral organ, presenting works across various musical eras and styles.

ℹ️ Good to know: Printed invitations must be picked up in person starting 10 days before each concert at Casa de l’Almoina (Pla de la Seu, 7), subject to venue capacity.

✨ An unmissable encounter with sacred organ music in the heart of Barcelona.
