Teatre La Puntual fills with fantasy with a new edition of its gathering dedicated to puppets and object theater. 🎭

The 21st edition of the Barcelona International Puppet Festival brings together four companies from England, Italy, Castile and León, and the Balearic Islands, many premiering their shows at La Puntual for the first time.

📖 Four weekends of puppetry and object theater

The festival runs across four weekends designed for family audiences and viewers of all ages. From October 9 to 11, Títeres de María Parrato presents Caminos, a poetic voyage about personal change. From October 16 to 18, Italian troupe Nina Theatre presents Posa-hi el Cor, a wordless production featuring short comic and heartfelt scenes.

From October 23 to 25, Príncep Totilau presents La Flor Romanial, telling the tale of a search for a magical flower to cure a sick king. Closing the festival from October 30 to November 1, British performer Steve Tiplady stars in Pinocchio, where Geppetto transforms his workshop tools to bring the wooden puppet to life.
