📖 The relevance of an essential poet

The production weaves together theater, music, dance, and audiovisuals to tell the story of Miguel Hernández, which is also reflected as our collective story. His own words echo throughout: "Un amor hacia todo me atormenta".

The performance also draws upon the words of scholar Claude Couffon, who highlighted that Miguel Hernández is almost the only poet who drew such a profound lesson from his roots, taking from his childhood and his land the vital nourishment for his work.

The piece explores why Hernández remains perpetually relevant: for numerous reasons, and because new melodies continually emerge that, through music, project his verses out into the world.
