📖 Poetry and architecture at the foot of Collserola

While the friendship between poet Jacint Verdaguer and architect Antoni Gaudí is well documented, the profound dialogue between poetry and architecture stemming from their relationship is far less known. This route explores this shared bond at the turn of the 20th century.

Although designed as a walking route between Vil·la Joana—where Verdaguer spent his final days—and Torre Bellesguard, the activity is held temporarily only at Torre Bellesguard due to restrictions in Collserola Park caused by a swine fever outbreak. Over an hour and a half, visitors discover the landmark Gaudí was constructing at the time, surrounded by gardens celebrated in Verdaguer's verses.
