📖 A sonic chronicle of coming of age

Headed by Joachim Liebens, The Haunted Youth crafts songs that capture the turbulent feelings of the transitional years leading into adulthood. Grounded in subtly distorted guitars, Liebens seamlessly maneuvers between soaring euphoria and quiet melancholy.

Across two studio records, Dawn of the Freak and Boys Cry Too, his music echoes the textured realms of acts such as DIIV, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, and Yumi Zouma, blending bright hooks with shadowy, introspective layers.

This performance is presented with the support of Liveurope, the pioneering pan-European platform supporting live music venues in their efforts to champion emerging artists across Europe. Liveurope is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
