Founded in 2006, Swab is a platform for the exchange of contemporary art that brings artists, galleries, audiences and cultural players together in one space.

Exhibitors are spread across five curated programmes: General Program, Polar & Tropic, Vortex, Off-Site and Myfaf, with emerging and established artists. Around them runs a public programme of performance, workshops, radio, video, tours and Swab Kids for younger visitors.
🏛️ A fair built around artists
Swab is driven by professionals from the contemporary art world and shaped by the needs of artists and galleries. Its aim is to build community and shared value around art, with an open and welcoming atmosphere that sets it apart from the big commercial fairs.
ℹ️ Good to know: on Thursday 8 the fair is open by invitation only. Reduced tickets are for students, seniors, people with disabilities, large and single-parent families and library card holders, with proof. Metro L1 and L3, Plaça Espanya.
