📅 Tuesday 10 November 2026
🕐 8.00 pm
📍 L'Auditori, Sala 1 Pau Casals, Barcelona
🎟️ Tickets from €32
🎼 The programme
- Sergei Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor, Op. 30
- Bedřich Smetana: Má vlast (My Homeland): "Vyšehrad", "Vltava" and "Šárka"
🎻 The performers
Semyon Bychkov has led the Czech Philharmonic since 2018 and brought the Prague orchestra back to the international front line. Behzod Abduraimov, born in Tashkent, is one of the great virtuosos of his generation. After the interval come three of Smetana's symphonic poems, including "Vltava", which this orchestra plays like no other.
🏛️ The venue
L'Auditori, designed by Rafael Moneo and opened in 1999 in the Fort Pienc neighbourhood, is home to the Barcelona Symphony and Catalonia National Orchestra and one of the country's great music venues. Its acoustics make it a regular stop for the world's leading orchestras and soloists.
ℹ️ Good to know: arrive about 20 minutes early; the cheapest seats tend to sell out first. Tickets on the BCN Clàssics website.
