📖 A journey of sonic contrasts

The concert program brings together original recompositions and adaptations crafted by the performer himself. It features a recomposition for violin and electronics based on the medieval Llibre Vermell de Montserrat, alongside Steve Reich’s landmark Violin phase and an arrangement of New York counterpoint.

Listeners will also discover Balanas’ arrangements of contemporary songs, including Radiohead’s Pyramid song, Björk’s The anchor song, and Sílvia Pérez Cruz’s Moreno, as well as the Spanish premiere of a new piece for violin and electronics by composer Jabeau.
