(re)descobreix La Rambla, free guided walks

Throughout October, Amics de La Rambla invites you to walk Barcelona's best-known street again with 26 free guided routes. 🚶🌆

The series is part of the project «La Rambla, a new model of urban tourism», which aims to tell the story of the street through its culture, history and heritage.

🚶 (RE)DESCOBREIX LA RAMBLA

📅 2 to 27 October 2026, on selected days

🕐 Different times for each route, morning or afternoon

📍 La Rambla and surroundings (Raval, Gothic Quarter, la Mercè and Port Vell), Barcelona

🎟️ Free routes, booking required

🗺️ The routes

There is something for everyone: «The darkest Rambla», through the Raval and the Gothic Quarter; «La Rambla in detail»; «La Mercè, Barcelona's first seaside neighbourhood»; «From La Rambla to the America's Cup», on the history of Port Vell; «La Rambla, cradle of Barcelona politics»; «La Rambla, a journey through time» and «La Rambla and Barça». Each one starts from a different meeting point.

🏛️ Routes open all year

If you miss out on a place, there is an alternative: the six Rambling routes can be followed on your own any day. They cover the historic cinemas, the characters, the façades, the photographers, the works of art and the old inns and hotels of the boulevard.

ℹ️ Good to know: the walks are led in Catalan or Spanish, not in English. Places are limited and as of 2 October the routes listed on the website appear as fully booked, so check the page in case places are released or new dates are added.

✨ A good excuse to look at La Rambla with fresh eyes.
