📖 About the concert

The Orquestra Sònica is Southern Europe's first professional symphonic orchestra exclusively dedicated to modern music, following the path established by celebrated ensembles such as the Netherlands' Metropole Orkest.

Argentine percussionist Marcelo Woloski, best known for his work with Snarky Puppy, joins the thirty-member orchestra to perform original compositions by German saxophonist and conductor Fabia Mantwill. The program highlights works from her two published albums, paired with the electric energy of saxophonist Llibert Fortuny.

🎶 The ensemble and performers

Drawing on the rich pool of musical talent in Catalonia, the Orquestra Sònica delivers a concert balancing subtle sensitivity and high-voltage modern rhythms.

✨ An evening of grand modern orchestral music with exceptional guests at L'Auditori.
