Barcelona's own Wiesn reaches its thirteenth edition with a new home: this year the big beer festival moves to Fira Barcelona Gran Via. 🍺🥨

🥨 The experience

The party starts with the cry of «O'zapft is!» at the opening ceremony and carries on with one-litre steins, pork knuckle, sausages and pretzels, traditional costumes and bands that get the whole tent singing. You can come without a booking: besides the reserved tables there are many more with open access.

🏛️ Bavaria with a Barcelona accent

The organisers describe it as a borrowed tradition adopted with respect and affection, blended into the open, musical character of the city: an «Ein Prosit» with rumba in the background. The move to Fira Gran Via gives it more room without changing the spirit of earlier editions.
