📖 A journey through traditional songbooks

The show Recançonem is a musical and historical journey based on tunes gathered in the Obra del Cançoner Popular, one of the most ambitious 20th-century field projects documenting Catalan oral heritage.

The repertoire features traveling melodies wandering from east to west, recounting tales of maidens, kings, outlaws, loves, and vendettas. The music comes alive through the five-string violin of Núria Balcells Santolaria and the seven-string guitar of Rocco Papía.

🎶 La Taverna del CAT

The La Taverna del CAT series turns the venue's bar into an informal weekly meeting point for live traditional folk music in a cozy tavern atmosphere.
