📖 A repertoire of sonic contrasts

The neuma quartet—featuring Estela Córcoles (flute), Alejandra Villalobos (flute and bass flute), Anna Pujol (flute and piccolo), and Raquel Díaz (flute and alto flute)—presents a varied program exploring the rich timbre of the flute family.

The program includes C. Debussy’s Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune in an arrangement by neuma, alongside the world premiere of a commissioned work by H. Cánovas based on Debussy’s piece. The performance also features Tres peces blaves by J. Cornudella, Glimt, skymt by L. Wennäkoski, and S. Reich’s Vermont counterpoint.
