Barcelona's municipal markets fair returns as part of the European Capital of Local Commerce year, bringing producers, chefs, stallholders and locals together around good, sustainable, local food.

🔥 What to expect

Stallholders from the city's municipal markets bring fresh produce that you can have cooked for free on the grills and eat on the spot: buy anything meant for the barbecue and you get a ticket for the grill counter, open from 12 noon to 8.15 pm.

Restaurants serve tapas at €4 or €6, and the Sustainability Point offers a seasonal menu (€16) and a family menu (€40). Local producers and artisans, live music, workshops and family activities round off the fair.

🇰🇷 Jeonbuk, guest of honour

The South Korean province of Jeonbuk is this year's guest, offering a taste of its cuisine and traditional culture: Korean food, dance, concerts and activities for all ages.
