📖 A musical dialogue of reeds and accordion

Both musicians share a special background: they studied at ESMUC and later attended the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki for the GLOMAS master's program in global music, though they did not coincide in time while there. This event marks their long-awaited musical meeting.

Their repertoire combines Catalan and Finnish traditions through an unusual instrumental blend. The reeds and bellows interact through Roser Gabriel on the chromatic accordion and Manu Sabaté playing bass clarinet, gralla, and tenora.

In autumn 2026, La Taverna del CAT holds its 33rd season, hosting live folk performances inside the bar of Gràcia's traditional music center with a cozy tavern atmosphere.
