The party that brought the coolest side of the sixties to 1990s Barcelona turns 30 and comes back for one night. 🎶🕺

Magic in the Air was born in 1996, when Eneida, a 19-year-old mod who edited the fanzine Fever!, asked the owner of the legendary Magic club to host a monthly party. Garage, soul, psychedelia and easy listening at the height of the electronic music era.

🎸 The line-up

Live on stage: Los Retrovisores and France's The Falken's Maze, with a third band still to be announced. Behind the decks, two international names: Eddie Piller, founder of Acid Jazz Records, and Roch "da Mod" Vidal, the man behind Le Mans goes Mod.

They are joined by the long-time resident selectors Marc Argenter, Eduardo Domingo and Eneida Fever, plus Miguel Velacoracho, Belle de Jour and Carles Armengol.

🏛️ A club that built a scene

Magic was never a "smart dress only" club. That mix of crowds and styles made it a meeting point for a whole generation: bands such as Los Buhos, Sidonie and Magic Bus played its nights, alongside international acts from the mod and sixties scene.

The weekend kicks off on Friday 16 October with a warm-up party at Casa Sidral.
