📖 The struggle of loving each other across generations

The play revolves around an overdue conversation between a father and his daughter. He thinks he knows better than she does; she thinks she knows better than her father. Neither knows how to open up, and both are convinced the other is mistaken.

Perhaps the father does not know his daughter well enough, just as the daughter might not truly know her father. The piece brings forward the complex combat of family love and the unavoidable mark parents and children leave on each other.

🎭 Production and creative team

The play is written by Ramon Madaula Canadell, who also stars on stage alongside Júlia Genís, directed by Mònica Bofill. Presented by Sala Flyhard, the performance is included in Programa.cat, an initiative supported by the Departament de Cultura de la Generalitat de Catalunya and the provincial councils of Barcelona, Girona, Lleida, and Tarragona.

✨ An intimate reflection on family ties and unspoken words on stage in Begues.
