📖 Verse satire and fast-paced staging

This verse satire of romantic tragedies, originally written by Pedro Muñoz Seca, is one of the biggest hits in Spanish theater history. In this updated reading, Paco Mir takes charge of adaptation and direction to deliver a rapid pace and playful stagecraft.

Embracing metatheater, the actors reflect through laughter on theater itself and its role in society. The production features original music by Juan Francisco Padilla and stage design by Nuria Maluquer.
