The Palau de la Música Catalana hosts a staged two-act version of La traviata, one of Giuseppe Verdi's most acclaimed and performed masterpieces. 🎶🌹

📖 An immortal story on stage

Based on Alexandre Dumas fils' novel The Lady of the Camellias, La traviata portrays a passionate and tragic love story. In this two-hour production with a fifteen-minute intermission, audiences will experience live some of the most celebrated moments in the operatic repertoire, such as the festive "Brindisi", the spectacular aria-cabaletta "Sempre libera", and the deeply emotional finale "Addio del passato".

🎭 A grand artistic and technical staging

The production features period costumes designed by Rafató Teatre and directed by Mambana Martínez, makeup and characterization by Ana María Cortés, and lighting design by Imesde tailored to the architecture of the Palau de la Música Catalana. The musical direction is led by Jofre Bardolet, with choir direction by Marta Finestres and artistic direction by Sergi Giménez Carreras.

Choreography is crafted by Núria Serra, alongside production by Pepo Guardiola and stage management by Álvaro Duran, presenting a rich performance that brings Verdi's drama to life.
