📖 The story
A sick king can only be cured by a flower nobody has ever seen: the flor romanial. He calls his three sons and promises the crown to whichever of them finds it.
The brothers' journey is full of mystery and surprises, bringing them face to face with envy and greed, but also with generosity. Because sooner or later, the truth always comes out. Jordi Hervàs is both the puppeteer and the travelling theatre itself.
🎨 Saturday special session
On Saturday 24 at 12 noon, after the show, there is a talk with the company and a free puppet workshop for children and adults, no booking needed for ticket holders of that session. Founded in 2005, it is the only venue in Barcelona devoted to puppets, marionettes, shadow play and object theatre. It sits in the heart of La Ribera, a neighbourhood with a puppetry tradition going back to the late 19th century, and is run by Eugenio and Néstor Navarro, father and son.
ℹ️ Good to know: performed in Catalan, 50 minutes, ages 3 and up (ideal for 4 to 9).
✨ A Balearic folk classic told with puppets, at Barcelona's own puppet theatre.
