📖 An edition dedicated to dreams and resistance

Dedicated to the theme "Dreams", the 19th edition of IndiFest gathers new films arriving from Indigenous territories, alongside international guests, debates, workshops, and concerts. Across many Indigenous worldviews, dreams extend far beyond individual experience: they are spaces of knowledge, communication, and guidance linking past, present, and future with spiritual and territorial realms.

Sharing and interpreting dreams collectively informs community decision-making, helps anticipate threats, and shapes collective action. In defending territories against external incursions, the dream dimension assumes political weight, serving as a pillar of legitimacy, identity, and cultural resistance that challenges Western divides between waking life and spirituality.

🎬 Indigenous cinema across Barcelona

The festival takes place across various venues throughout the city to build bridges between diverse realities and foster open conversation. On screen, mountains, rivers, and ancestors emerge as living presences demanding respect and care, safeguarding ancestral community knowledge.

✨ A unique opportunity to encounter powerful narratives asserting memory, sovereignty, and Indigenous wisdom.
