📖 The story

Her friend Rinaldo the mouse tells her to buy a ribbon for her tail, but Greta knows exactly what she wants: she will use the coin to put on a big show.

Today are the auditions to choose which animal will perform with her. The Ventriloquist Rooster? The Dancing Piglet? The Flea-Taming Dog, the Magician Donkey? Or will she fall under the Hypnotist Cat's spell? A fun, modern take on the classic tale.

🏛️ La Puntual, La Ribera's puppet theatre

Founded in 2005, it is the only venue in Barcelona devoted to puppets, marionettes, shadow play and object theatre. It sits in the heart of La Ribera, a neighbourhood with a puppetry tradition going back to the late 19th century, and is run by Eugenio and Néstor Navarro, father and son.
