ECOSS Festival: Digital Culture and Live Arts

Barcelona hosts the ninth edition of the ECOSS Festival, a techno-eco-transfeminist gathering connecting digital technology, contemporary thought, and performance art. 🎨✨

Organized by Kòniclab, this edition brings together twenty interdisciplinary projects across several municipal venues, all created by women and non-binary artists.

📖 Digital culture, technology, and live arts

The festival programme encompasses interactive installations, artificial intelligence, virtual and mixed reality, sound art, expanded cinema, live performances, and workshops, rethinking digital environments through an intersectional framework.

Featured participants include Mònica Rikić (National Culture Award 2021), electronic artist Eneritz Tejada, physicist and musician Neus Abellàn within the AMAS project, filmmaker Laia Cabrera, and the ESTAMPA collective. International guests include sound artist Ioana Vreme Moser and curator Paola Escotto.

The events are distributed across five spaces: Fabra i Coats (22-23 October), Convent de Sant Agustí (30 October), Goethe-Institut (3-5 November), Casa Golferichs (6 November), and Centre d’Arts Santa Mònica (24 November), with support from the Goethe-Institut and FRICC.
