The Dansat Festival fills Barcelona's Sant Andreu district with rhythm and movement through an extensive dance showcase spanning theatre stages, streets, and squares. 🎭✨

Organised by saT! Sant Andreu Teatre annually since 2004 during October, this event gathers productions from regional companies and resident artists, featuring flamenco, urban dance, contemporary choreography, and family shows.

📖 Performances and companies at the festival

The programme opens on Friday 16 October with the flamenco dance piece Guacamayo by José Maldonado. On Saturday 17 October, the festival presents street performances by IEA Oriol Martorell and urban dance by Hop Sant Andreu. The schedule resumes on Thursday 22 October with Más que baile by Ana Morales, followed on Friday 23 October by Miquel Barcelona's Rojos.

On Saturday 24 October, outdoor shows continue with Ignacio J. Cabello, Cia. Pla Roig, Cia. José Manuel Álvarez, and Cia. Miquel Barcelona, alongside the stage production Rito by OtraDanza. The festival concludes on Sunday 25 October with the family dance piece Natzuri by Múcab Dans.
