La Rambla dresses up in flowers and celebrates its own festival with nine days of cultural, traditional and food activities for all ages. 🌸🌼
Organised by Amics de La Rambla since 1961, this year it arrives as the boulevard enters the final stretch of its full renovation.

📍 La Rambla and surroundings, Barcelona
🎟️ Free activities, some with prior registration
🌷 La Rambla in bloom
The festival's best-loved project once again decorates façades, buildings and landmark spaces along the boulevard with flowers, with the help of local organisations, shops and residents and the Catalan Florists' Guild: 25 floral displays and 2 gardens to visit. The opening walk to see them starts on Saturday 3 at 11 am, together with the participatory action «One flower, one wish».
🎪 Around fifty activities
The programme adds up to 12 guided routes, visits to places such as the Teatre Romea, the Maritime Museum, the Enric Miralles Foundation and the art collection at Hotel Bagués, a fair of Catalan and artisan products on Rambla de Santa Mònica (3 and 4 October), games, music and special offers in shops. The poster, by Pau Macián, a student at the Escola Massana, is a tribute to the flower sellers.
ℹ️ Good to know: guided visits are mostly in Catalan, have limited places and several are already full, so book as early as possible at festadelroser.cat. The floral displays can be seen simply by strolling, no booking needed.
